Our culture and values

At Moore South, our culture is the heartbeat of our organisation, guiding our actions and shaping our identity.

Our core values

In order to ensure that our core values aren’t the traditional ‘once used and then forgotten’ version, we have used the results and feedback from our team at a Core Values Day. Our core values represent who we are, what it is like to work at Moore South and shows the firm that we strive to be.

These values are what binds us together as Moore (South) and what attracts people to work and do business with us and helps drive our success.

Whether with clients or colleagues, we build real, long-term relationships. We believe in teamwork, collaboration and respect. It is important to us that we enjoy working together. We listen, challenge and support each other so that we, our firm and our clients all develop, grow and succeed.

We are ambitious, innovative and always seeking to improve. We encourage initiative and new ideas.

The future of our business is our team and we seek to inspire them to drive our business forward. We are adaptable and open to change.

We are open, honest, straightforward and fair. We act with integrity and we are accountable and take responsibility for our actions.

We are consistent, reliable and dedicated to quality and service excellence, in everything we do. We understand what real value is and how to deliver it. This means being commercially astute, providing practical advice and solutions and being a reliable trusted adviser.

Corporate social responsibility

We are committed to making a positive impact in our local communities. To this end, we actively seek opportunities to partner with various local charities and organisations. Some charities we work with include My Sister’s House, Help for Heroes, and The Isle of Wight Food Bank. We donate our time and resources and run fundraising events to help them achieve their goals and make a difference in people’s lives.

In addition to our charity work, we also collaborate with local colleges and universities to encourage more people to consider a career in accounting. We offer internships and mentorship programs to help students gain practical experience and develop skills. We believe that investing in the next generation of accountants can help build a stronger and more prosperous community.

Connecting beyond business

At Moore South, we understand that a fulfilling work environment goes beyond professional achievements – it’s about the friendships we nurture and the memories we create. Our social events capture the essence of our team’s camaraderie and shared experiences. From team-building tasks at team day that challenge us to collaborative feats, to light-hearted gatherings that let us unwind, these photos reflect the bonds that unite us. Whether we’re celebrating milestones, raising money for charity, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these snapshots capture the heart of our company culture.
